about

Where did this come from? Where does it go? Who are you? Who am I?

All fair and age-old questions. The short answer is that I’m merely a well-intentioned human who, probably like you, felt overwhelmed by the sheer number of anti-racism reading lists and screenshots and Instagram stories and resource Google Docs making their rounds on the World Wide Web. My browser’s Bookmarks bar was getting a little out of control, and thus I was compelled to compile these resources into a legible, navigable format so they could be as accessible as possible to as many people as possible.

Credit for a majority of these resources goes to the following folks (who you should absolutely follow, donate to, and continue to learn from) —

Ashanté M. Reese, Haymarket Books, Sarah Sophie Flicker, Alyssa Klein, ShiShi Rose, Alijah Webb, Jessica Law, Kanisha Williams, Louisa Richardson-Deppe, MPD150, Blavity, Coalition of Communities of Color, Black United Fund of Oregon, Ta-Nehisi Coates, Kameron Richie, Eve Ewing, the staff at AdHoc.fm, CJ Robbins (program coordinator for Black Male Achievement), The Center for Racial Justice, Xi Marquez, The Zinn Education Project, Burn All Books, Alicia Tate from the Black Cultural Library Advocates team, Somini Sengupta, Janell Hickman, Darian Symoné Harvin, Lexi Namer, Nykia Spradley, Rachel Ricketts,  Rachel Cargle, Tembe Denton-Hurst, and the Mothers To Mothers Postpartum Justice Project.

If you’d like to reach out about adding a resource or pointing out a typo/broken link, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
